What a super evening at the Bath Inn-thanks to all who made the effort to come and especially to those club officers who put a lot of effort into collecting polishing and setting out the many trophies.
Thanks also to those that supplied the enormous number of raffle prizes and to the juniors who sold the tickets.
The evening began with a short speech by Malcolm Gilbert in which he congratulated the club on it's move towards catch and release but at the same time emphasising all angler's rights in keeping fish to eat if they wish. Malcolm went on to say that the days of fish being kept just to win a trophy and then "binned" should be a thing of the past.
